Wedding Surprise
The first wedding I ever attended would be that of my first-year counselor's. Admittedly, I would not have survived my first year of college without him, so I knew I had to create a special artwork for him. Him and his now-wife got engaged in Japan, and I wanted to capture the delight, beauty, and lushness of their proposal. The green nature of Japan grew on me as I created the abstract background to capture the vibrancy and buzz of the instance. At the ceremony, I unveiled my surprise painting. I'm proud to say it will be one their first decorations for their new home!
