Pride Festival: Thrive!
This year's Pride Festival theme of Thrive! was bold, lively, and empowering. I had the fabulous opportunity of hosting a booth at the festival. To engage with community members, I created Custom Pride Pins. My favorite requests included Rainbow Disney Princesses, Powerpuff Girls, and Jack Skellingtonārainbow edition, of course. Pride is always one of my favorite summer events: cheery vibes, fun people, and rainbows galour!

It feels so important for me to represent the Asian community at Pride: to tear down cultural barriers that often muddy the intersection of LGBTQ+Ā and Asian identities. Seeing Asians cheering at the front of the parade while leading colorful festivitiesĀ represents a step towards true inclusiveness.Ā
