NXTHVN: Deserve What You Dream
This past weekend, I finally got to connect with NXTHVN and New Haven Sketchers. NXTHVN hosted a reception celebrating our rest and our dreams. The atmosphere of NXTHVN is, indeed, an artist's dream! Colors, good art, good music, good snacks, good people, good vibes. I enjoyed the exhibition as well: pool scenes of Black joy from Derrick Adams’ Floater painting series, abstract paintings by New Haven-based artist Jihyun Lee, and abstract sculptures by Sarah Zapata.
