Reflections of Resistance & Resilience: Asian Solidarity Collective's 7th Annual Fundraising Gala
For API Heritage Month, I had the wonderful opportunity of hosting ASC's 7th Annual Gala. I felt inspired by the electric, compassionate community that gathered for this event to celebrate one another. There was a breathtaking breadth of talent, from performances featuring star-studded Drag Queens, to live poetry, to professional DJ action, to, of course, the celebration of Asian Solidarity Collective's mission towards unifying our communities for the advancement of justice.
Hosting this event was an experience that made me even prouder to be a spokesperson for my community---it empowered me to find pride in my voice as part of a unified effort towards liberation for all.
